AI-personalized daily targets
Your calorie and macro numbers are generated from your own details — not a one-size-fits-all formula. They re-refine automatically on every weigh-in, so the plan follows your progress instead of going stale.
Free AI calorie tracker · Android · No ads
Counting calories shouldn't feel like a spreadsheet. NutriLog AI is a free calorie and macro tracker for Android that sets your targets from your own body, activity and goal — and when you photograph a meal it shows you the ingredients it found, so you can drop or correct any of them before it's logged. An estimate you can argue with beats a confident one you can't.
Every feature below is free. Health Connect access is read-only.

How it works
Most trackers hand you a number and walk away. NutriLog AI starts with targets built around you — and keeps adjusting them as your weight moves.
Age, height, weight, activity level and goal. Eight short steps — you can do the whole thing before you create an account.
Daily calories plus a protein, carb and fat split tuned to your body and your goal. If the AI is unavailable, a proven formula fills in — setup never fails.
Search, scan a barcode, or one-tap a meal you eat often. Every weigh-in quietly re-refines your targets in the background.
Calorie tracker features
No trial timer, no locked core. Even the AI meal estimates are free, up to 5 credits per account — Pro lifts the cap, and Pro isn't on sale yet.
Your calorie and macro numbers are generated from your own details — not a one-size-fits-all formula. They re-refine automatically on every weigh-in, so the plan follows your progress instead of going stale.
Most apps hand you either an unverified number or a confident one you can't argue with. Photograph the meal and NutriLog AI lists the ingredients it thinks it saw, with the calories each one contributes — drop the ones that aren't there, adjust the portions that are wrong, and the total follows before anything is logged. Five AI credits are free on every account.
Search thousands of foods, scan a barcode, photograph the meal, save custom foods and recipes, or one-tap a meal you log all the time — the fastest path, and the one most people actually use.
One katori is not the same number in every kitchen. Set your own katori and roti sizes once, and every Indian dish is counted in your portions instead of a global average — a katori off by a third is the difference between a deficit and a plateau.
Most days you eat something you have eaten before. Your recent meals sit one tap from the dashboard, so breakfast goes in without a search, a scan or a single number typed. It is how most meals get logged here.
Calories left in one ring, macros as bars, plus water, steps, fiber, burn and your weight trend. Any past day is one tap away.
Log every glass against a daily hydration goal, with a tap.
Pulls the steps, active calories, exercise, sleep and heart rate your phone or watch already records. Read-only — NutriLog AI never writes to your health data.
The trend graph smooths out daily noise. After a few weigh-ins, NutriLog AI projects when you'll reach your goal weight — and tells you honestly when there isn't enough data yet instead of guessing.
Log workouts and calories burned, and run intermittent fasting windows with a live timer and streaks.
Zoom out from the daily grind — calorie trends, weight movement and how consistent you've actually been.
Earn badges as your streak builds — small, visible wins for the days you actually showed up.
On-device nudges to log a meal, drink water or weigh in — so tracking becomes a habit rather than a chore.

AI meal estimates are already in the free app — 5 credits per account, shared across photo, dish-name and restaurant estimates. Pro removes that cap and adds a nutrition coach you can chat with, plateau insights, targets that adapt as you progress, and your full history beyond the last 30 days.
It isn't purchasable yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Everything else on this page is free and unlimited today, and we'll announce Pro inside the app when it's genuinely ready.
Privacy
Use your Google account, or a one-time code sent to your email. You can complete the whole setup before creating an account at all.
Account deletion lives in Privacy settings — no email, no support ticket, no waiting. You can also export your complete record to a file first.
AI features send the relevant part of your data to Google Gemini only while AI Data Sharing is on. Turn it off and the rest of the app keeps working.
Six Health Connect read permissions, zero write permissions. We can see what your watch recorded; we can never change it.
Not medical advice. NutriLog AI targets and coaching are an estimate generated from the details you share — general wellness guidance, not medical advice. Please check with a doctor before starting a new diet or fitness plan, especially if you have a medical condition or are pregnant.
FAQ
Yes. Logging, barcode scanning, macros, water, weight, workouts, fasting, reports and Health Connect sync are unlimited and free, with no ads. The AI meal estimates are free too, up to 5 credits per account. Pro lifts that cap and adds the coach chat — and Pro cannot be bought yet.
Not yet. NutriLog AI is Android-only right now — it's built around Google Play and Android Health Connect.
Three things. It sets your daily calorie and macro targets during setup and re-refines them every time you log a weight — free and unlimited. It also estimates a meal from a photo, a dish name or a restaurant menu item, and shows you the ingredients it found so you can drop or correct any of them before it's logged. Every account gets 5 free AI credits shared across those. Pro lifts the cap and adds a coach you can chat with; Pro isn't on sale yet.
No. It's optional. Connecting it means your steps, active calories, exercise, sleep and heart rate flow in automatically instead of being typed in.
Usually, but not always. Reminders are scheduled on your device, and some Android makers aggressively stop background apps. If yours does, the app will point you at the setting that fixes it.
Most trackers hand you an empty target and ask you to guess. NutriLog AI works out your daily calories and macros from your body, activity and goal, then re-refines them every time you log a weight. It also shows the ingredients behind a photo estimate so you can correct it, rather than asking you to trust it. Barcode scanning, macros, reports and Health Connect sync are all free, and there are no ads. The trade-off is honest: we are Android-only, and our food database is younger than theirs.
Yes. Protein, carbs and fat get their own targets and their own rings on the dashboard, alongside water, weight, steps, workouts and fasting windows.
It's free on the Google Play Store — search for NutriLog AI, or open that link on your Android phone. Android 8.0 or newer.
